Dream House
whitecolors -kollektiivi ja Kokeellisten taiteiden nomadinen akatemia järjestävät minimalistisäveltäjä La Monte Youngin innoittaman 24:n tunnin mittaisen Dream House-konsertin. Yhtenä drone-musiikin isänä pidetty Young suunnitteli 60-luvulla Dream House'iksi nimitettyjä konsertteja, joissa äänet ja valot sulautuivat pitkäkestoisiksi kokemuksiksi.
Kahtatoista eri esiintyjää (sooloja ja ryhmiä) on pyydetty Harakan saaren Kasematti IV galleriaan toteuttamaan Youngin konseptisävellyksen #10 vuodelta 1960; "draw a straight line and follow it", kukin oman tulkintansa mukaan ilman genrerajoituksia. Kaikki soittajat esiintyvät kahdesti vuorokauden aikana, tunnin pituisissa jaksoissa.

whitecolors collective collaborating with Nomadic Academy of Experimental Arts are organizing a 24 hour long Dream House concert, inspired by the minimalist composer La Monte Young. Young, who is considered one of the pioneers of drone music, realized in the 60s concerts called Dream House's, where sounds and lights created extended experiences.
Twelve different performers (solos and groups) have been asked to come to the island of Harakka's Kasematti IV gallery and realize Young's composition #10 from the year 1960: "draw a straight line and follow it”, each with their own means with no genre restrictions. Every player is going to perform twice in one hour long periods.

Yhteysvene Harakkaan 08.30 lähtien 24:n asti. Lähtö Ullanlinnan laiturilta.
Kutsu yhteysvene nostamalla ylös viitta laiturin nokasta.
Yöllä ei mahdollisuutta poistua saarelta paitsi omalla veneellä.
Edestakainen lippu 3,80 €

Omat ruoat/juomat mukaan. Kenties mahdollisuus grillaukseen.
Lattiapinta galleriassa vuorataan patjoilla, jolloin on mahdollista nukahtaa äänen sisään. Peitot/makuupussit mukaan, jos siltä tuntuu.

Invite the boat by lifting up the sign in the pier.
Boat ticket back and forth 3,80 €
During the night it isn't possible to leave the island, unless with ones own boat.

Take your own food/drink with you. Perhaps there is also a possibility for grilling.
The floor space of the gallery will be covered with mattresses, enabling sleeping inside the sound. If you feel like it, take your own blankets and sleeping bags with you.
