RECOMMENDED: NIKOLA TESLA EXHIBITION IN AALTO UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, OTAKAARI 1

Nikola Tesla – The Man Who Lit Up The World exhibition will be open for public from March 26 to May 31, 2010 at 8:00 - 16:00. Location: Main building, lobby, second floor, Otakaari 1, Espoo, Finland
Inventor, electrical engineer and physicist, Nikola Tesla was born in 1856 in the village of Smiljan in Croatia. His brilliant discoveries and inventions made him one of the most important scientists and inventors of modern times. In the field of electrical engineering, Tesla enriched the world with more than 700 registered inventions, many of which were so far in advance of their times that they could be put to practical purpose only long after his death. The exhibition is arranged in co-ordination with the Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia.
